We collect information you provide directly when you create an account or request a trial — including your name, email address, company name, company domain, company headquarters location, and role.

We collect information generated through your use of the service — including the accounts you research, the outreach content you generate, tags, notes, and settings you configure.

We collect limited technical information automatically — including IP address, browser type, operating system, and usage patterns — to operate and secure the platform.

The company and account research data generated by Loupe Intel is compiled from publicly available information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Loupe Intel service; to authenticate your identity and manage your account; to build your selling environment and generate personalized research, outreach, and call scripts; to send service-related communications including updates, security alerts, and support messages; to analyze usage patterns and improve the platform; to enforce our Terms of Service; and to comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Research and Data Processing

Loupe Intel uses third-party AI services to research companies and generate outreach content. When you research an account, information about that company is sent to our AI provider to generate intelligence. If you choose to provide your own API key ("bring your own key"), that key is stored locally in your browser and used solely to authenticate your research requests — we do not store your personal API key on our servers.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database platform. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication, and database-level access controls. Research data associated with your account is stored in your private account library and is not accessible to other users. No security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform — including Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and our AI provider (research processing) — under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Loupe Intel, our users, or others.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Loupe Intel uses essential cookies and local browser storage to maintain your session, store your settings and preferences, and (if you use your own key) store your API key locally. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your browsing data. You can clear your browser storage at any time, which will remove locally stored data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Research data in your account library is retained until you delete it or close your account. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your personal information; export your data in a portable format; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@loupeintel.ai.

9. International Users

Loupe Intel is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.

10. GDPR Rights (EU / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing your personal data is the performance of our contract with you (to provide the service) and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the platform.

11. Children's Privacy

Loupe Intel is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
